Handmade white stoneware dinnerware, 36 piece setting with accompanying accent pieces

Origin Dinnerware Story

The day before they got engaged, Rebecca and Riv explored Alexandria and wandered through the Torpedo Factory, a building filled with galleries and studios of local artists. After their engagement, Rebecca was inspired by some of the pottery they saw and wanted a local potter to design and make a dinnerware setting for 12 as part of their wedding registry. She looked up the Torpedo Factory online and found an artist she liked, Scott Kaye. A couple months later, Rebecca and Riv were back in the Torpedo Factory and noticed that an artist in one of the galleries looked eerily familiar. After furtively checking pictures on their phones, they approached him and asked if any of the work in the gallery was his. He replied that yes, and that his name was Scott Kaye. Excited and slightly flustered, they asked if he had ever made dinnerware.

Pictured here are the results of our design meetings. Rebecca and Riv are excited to have the opportunity to enjoy owning this dinnerware after their big day. They do hope you will participate in this experience by ordering them some uniquely handmade pieces from this exclusive wedding collection.
